Jeffrey Epstein
Private Financier
Owner and primary operator of the aircraft documented in the court-admitted flight logs. Convicted in Florida (2008) of solicitation of prostitution involving a minor. Arrested federally in July 2019 on sex trafficking charges (SDNY, 19-cr-490). Found dead at the Metropolitan Correctional Center on August 10, 2019, while awaiting trial. His estate remains in litigation across multiple jurisdictions.

Ghislaine Maxwell
Associate / Co-Conspirator
British socialite and daughter of media magnate Robert Maxwell. Named as Epstein's primary co-conspirator in the superseding indictment (Doc. 94, 20-cr-330). Convicted December 29, 2021 on five federal counts including sex trafficking of a minor and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking. Sentenced June 28, 2022 to 20 years in federal prison (FCI Tallahassee). Conviction affirmed by the Second Circuit on September 17, 2024. SCOTUS denied certiorari October 6, 2025.
Virginia Giuffre
Survivor / Lead Plaintiff
Primary survivor-plaintiff in civil proceedings. Recruited by Maxwell at age 17 while working at Mar-a-Lago. Filed defamation suit against Maxwell (15-cv-07433, SDNY) in 2015, which became the primary vehicle for document disclosure. Her 2016 deposition, unsealed by court order in August 2019, names numerous individuals. She settled a separate civil suit against Prince Andrew in February 2022.

Four survivors testified at the Maxwell trial under pseudonyms or first names: 'Jane,' 'Kate,' 'Carolyn,' and Annie Farmer (who testified using her real name). Their testimony formed the core of the government's case. Carolyn's testimony described being brought to Palm Beach at age 14. Annie Farmer described being abused at Zorro Ranch in New Mexico at age 16.
Les Wexner

Founder and CEO of L Brands (Victoria's Secret, Bath & Body Works). Granted Epstein expansive power of attorney over his financial affairs and transferred the 9 East 71st Street mansion to Epstein for a nominal sum. Wexner severed ties with Epstein in 2007 and subsequently stated he had been defrauded of approximately $46 million. Named in civil depositions in USVI litigation against JPMorgan.
Lesley Groff
Executive Assistant
Epstein's senior executive assistant, described in court documents and depositions as a central organizer of his travel and social arrangements. Named in the 2007 Non-Prosecution Agreement as a potential co-conspirator who received immunity from federal prosecution. Depositions describe her role in scheduling and communication with victims.
Nadia Marcinkova
Associate
Named in the 2007 Non-Prosecution Agreement as a potential co-conspirator who received immunity. Also known as Nadia Marcinko in public records. Appears as a passenger in Epstein's flight logs across multiple entries. Her role is described in victim depositions. She later obtained a commercial pilot's license and worked in aviation.
Sarah Kellen
Associate
Listed as one of Epstein's closest personal assistants in court documents and depositions. Named in the 2007 NPA as a potential co-conspirator who received immunity from prosecution. Victims' depositions describe her scheduling and logistics role. She appears in the court-admitted flight logs as a named passenger.
Alan Dershowitz
Defense Attorney
Harvard Law professor emeritus. Served as Epstein's lead criminal defense attorney during the 2007 NPA negotiations in Florida. Named in civil court filings by Virginia Giuffre, who alleged abuse. Dershowitz vigorously denied the allegations and filed counter-claims. His deposition in the Giuffre v. Maxwell proceedings is part of the public record. He was also a party to the 2024 unsealing orders.
Prince Andrew
Duke of York / Royal
Second son of Queen Elizabeth II. Named in court filings by Virginia Giuffre as someone to whom she was trafficked by Epstein and Maxwell. A civil lawsuit filed in SDNY (21-cv-06702) was settled February 2022 for a reported charitable contribution of approximately $12 million, with no admission of liability. Andrew was subsequently stripped of royal military titles. He remains named in depositions included in the January 2024 unsealing.

Bill Clinton
Former U.S. President
42nd President of the United States. Named in flight logs admitted as court exhibits and in civil depositions as a passenger on Epstein's aircraft. Clinton acknowledged knowing Epstein but denied any knowledge of criminal activity. His Secret Service detail confirmed some flights. Named in documents released in the January 2024 unsealing of the 15-cv-07433 docket. Testified before the House Oversight Committee in February 2026, stating he neither saw nor did anything wrong.
Alexander Acosta
U.S. Attorney / Cabinet Official
U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida (2005–2009). Signed the September 2007 Non-Prosecution Agreement with Epstein's defense team, including Dershowitz, effectively ending the federal investigation. A DOJ Office of Professional Responsibility report found his office mishandled the case. He later served as U.S. Secretary of Labor until July 2019, when he resigned following renewed scrutiny triggered by the Miami Herald's 'Perversion of Justice' investigation.
Jean-Luc Brunel
Model Agent
French modeling agent and founder of MC2 Model Management. Named in Maxwell's federal indictment as a co-conspirator. Accused of procuring young women and minors for Epstein. Arrested in France in December 2020 on charges of rape and human trafficking. Named in multiple civil suits and in the Maxwell superseding indictment. Found dead at La Santé Prison, Paris on February 19, 2022. French authorities ruled the death a suicide.
Bill Richardson
Politician
Former Governor of New Mexico (Democrat, 2003–2011) and U.S. Secretary of Energy under President Clinton. Named in civil depositions in the Giuffre v. Maxwell proceedings. Richardson denied the allegations. The allegations are connected to New Mexico's Zorro Ranch property, within Richardson's political jurisdiction as Governor. He died August 2023. Documents related to him were part of the January 2024 unsealing.
Maria Farmer
Survivor / First Complainant
Artist employed by Epstein in the mid-1990s. The first known person to report Epstein and Maxwell to the FBI, in 1996, following an assault at the Wexner estate in Granville, Ohio. Her complaint was taken but the investigation was closed without charges. Her account was publicly documented by the Miami Herald in 2018 and later entered into the civil court record. Her sister Annie testified at Maxwell's trial.
Juan Alessi
House Manager
Former house manager at Epstein's Palm Beach estate, employed by Epstein from approximately 1990 to 2002. Testified at Maxwell's trial describing the daily operations of the Palm Beach property, the role of female assistants, and the presence of young women. His testimony provided key witness evidence regarding Maxwell's presence and role at the Palm Beach residence.
